Maui 2010

Falling in love with Maui...so easy to do! Sandy beaches, warm sun, beautiful blue ocean, friendly people, Costco, cheap road cycle shoes, and Boss Frogs - need I say more!

The hottest guys on the beach!
Sunrise on Haleakala at 10,023 feet.
Then a bike tour down that had me and Bonnie laughing so hard I'm surprised we made it off the mountain. Oh, Jesse, where did you learn to ride like that? And cute little newlywed, did you ever learn how to ride at all?

Absolutely incredible scenery (even me and my camera couldn't take a bad picture)!

The "Road to Hana" - not meant for the car sick. 50 miles in 4 hours.
Along the way you see groves of "Painted Eucalyptus" - yes, they are real.
Breathtaking views, black sand beaches, and one rude vegetarian named Hans who owns Cafe Romantica - "appeerantly" sitting in Hawaiian sea salt for 4 hours a day will cure all ills. Uhhh, could I get a prescription for that?
Heading to Molokini to snorkel.

Ka'anapali Ocean Resort
Our home away from home - beautiful. We never did get our Westin bags!
Everywhere you turn you see spectacular and different scenery...all equally beautiful!
Jimmy Buffet was right - there really are "Cheeseburgers in Paradise"!! Who knew?

Yep, falling in love with Hawaii, very easy to do, and I am going back someday!

  3. You forgot to mention that the "bike poses" were the "Titanic" pose. We couldn't talk Bill and Ron into the "Honeymoon pose"! I am ready to go back. I really want some Aloha Mixed Plate. And I am still VERY upset about Hans.
